Made from 100% superfine Merino wool, our Footed Baby Pants offer the perfect blend of comfort, safety, and softness. The high-waist design provides added warmth and a gentle fit around your baby’s tummy, while the double-layer merino in the feet area keeps tiny toes cozy and protected. Naturally breathable and moisture-wicking, these pants ensure your baby stays dry and comfortable in any environment.

Designed for year-round comfort, they are ideal for layering or pairing with a Woolino Sleep Bag or matching bodysuit. Thanks to Merino wool’s exceptional ability to regulate temperature, your baby will stay warm in the winter and cool in the summer.

Moreover, medical studies have shown that babies sleeping in merino wool settle more quickly, wake and cry less, sleep longer, and even gain weight faster.

100% Natural

Merino wool comes from Merino sheep, infused with nature’s ability to make it the perfect fiber to have against your baby’s skin.

Silky soft & hypoallergenic

Made of superfine merino wool that is supremely soft against baby’s skin.

Regulates body temperature

One of Merino’s key properties is the ability to keep a baby warm when it’s cold and cool when it’s warm, so you can be assured of the perfect temperature regulation for your little one (something they struggle with until they’re older!).

Warming even when wet

Nighttime accidents happen, but when merino wool gets wet, it retains its warming properties. Your baby will have a comfortable night’s sleep whatever the circumstances.

Ideal for layering

Superbly breathable, lightweight and silky soft - perfect worn on own or layered under clothing or a Woolino Sleep Bag.

    • Won’t wool itch my baby’s skin?

Absolutely not. We use only superfine merino wool, which unlike the traditional wool, feels like silk against baby’s delicate skin. In fact, because of its softness and unique breathability, it is perfect for treating conditions such as heat rash and eczema.

    • Isn’t merino wool too hot for warm temperatures/climates?

Our merino wool baby garments are lightweight and perfect for year-round wear. Merino helps naturally in regulating baby’s body temperature. It creates a micro-climate around them, gaining or losing heat as required to produce warmth in cold conditions and enhance cooling effects in warm conditions.

    • Woolino merino wool garments seems rather thin, should I worry whether it’ll keep my child warm?

Merino provides warmth without having to be bulky. Unlike traditional wool, the finesse of the Merino fiber allows for a very fine spun yarn and knit fabric. Because of the way fine Merino fibers are crimped together, it has greater density than other fibers, which allows it to retain heat better than other thicker fabric.

    • How do I know if my child is hot or cold?

Please check if your baby is hot or cold while sleeping by touching her tummy or behind her neck. Touching baby’s hands and feet are NOT good indications of their actual body temperature.

    • Do Woolino garments need to be washed before the first use?

No, it is not required to wash your Woolino garment prior wearing. When you wash it, please follow the care instructions carefully.

      • Why does wool smell when it gets wet?

There is an odor associated with wet wool, sometimes described as a "wet dog", "burned", or "perm" smell. This particular smell of wet wool is present because we use natural merino wool that has been minimally processed in order to preserve the lanolin content inside the wool.

Lanolin is naturally present in merino wool and is responsible for giving wool all of the great properties that we love: wicks away sweat, resists stains, feels soft to the touch, stays elastic, and resists bacteria and odors. Wool is a natural product. Even if you have multiple products, one may have a higher lanolin content than the other, accounting for a difference in smell.

You should not notice this smell at all when the product is completely dry. Over time, the smell will be less and less noticeable after washing as the lanolin content in the wool dissipates.

      • How to remove stains from wool?

Stains should be treated immediately. Do not apply any form of heat, as this tends to fix most stains making them more difficult to remove.
Rinse the stain immediately and thoroughly in cold water. Then, apply one of these two homemade stain remover mixtures that we recommend:

      1. The preferred option is a mixture of liquid laundry detergent and a few drops of white vinegar. Cover the stain with the mixture and allow the liquid to sit on the stain for at least an hour. Blot the stained area gently with a cloth before rinsing thoroughly with clean water. Repeat if necessary.
      2. Another option is a mixture of one part (1 Tsp) dish soap and two parts (2 Tsp) Hydrogen Peroxide (3%). Apply some of the mixture over the stain and let it sit for several hours. Wash afterwards as usual.

When ready to wash, check the product care tag for best results. Following our recommended care instructions will ensure the best possible wear while maintaining & prolonging the life of your Woolino.

These pants keep me warm in winter at home in Lake Tahoe and visiting Grandma in New Hampshire! Mommy bought them to keep my feet warm because I kept pulling off my socks but they keep my whole lower half warm and cozy too!

Customer photo review of Baby Footed Pants, Merino Wool, Sage

Love the concept, and when I first took them out of the package, they were so soft. I washed them one time on delicate in cold water with a very mild detergent and left them out to air dry. The first time baby wore the pants by the end of the night they began pilling — quite disappointing for the price. He is quite long for a six month old and his feet are very big. The length is very long and the pants come up to his chest. The feet are big and that’s really nice. They also keep him warm and its nice to have footed pants for bodysuits. Overall, I would consider purchasing again if there was a good amount off.

Customer photo review of Baby Footed Pants, Merino Wool, Blue

I bought footed pants and long sleeve body suit to wear as pjs under Woolino sleep sack. Chase’s room is the coldest one in our house and often times temperature drops to 63-65 at night. These pants along with the onsie and sleep sack keep him warm and toasty at night. They are very light and soft to touch and keep him comfortable at night.

Baby Footed Pants, Merino Wool, Blue

These pants are great for outside! Love how they're footed so you don't need socks. Tried to fold the band like yoga pants so they could be worn longer but it rolls up how they're intended to be worn. Fall/winter everyday staple.

Baby Footed Pants, Merino Wool, Dove

These fit so nicely and I love that the waistband rolls high to offer extended sizing. So warm and so well made

Baby Footed Pants, Merino Wool, Sage

EXACTLY WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR. The footed aspect was key when I was looking for good quality base layers. Shoes at this age are so hard to keep on, and the footed legs give me reassurance that my baby won’t end a hike barefooted. I also love how high the pants come up to give my baby an extra layer of warmth on the torso. I’m mad I didn’t have these with my first baby but relieved I found what I was looking for with my second!

Baby Footed Pants, Merino Wool, Blush

Very soft but started pilling on day 1. Knocking one star for the pilling because I am shocked at how much there already is all over the pants. Theyre very nice and warm, but they go all the way up to bub’s chest and he is 26 inches. I bought the 6-9 months because he just turned 6 months and he has big feet. The feet are great, but wow the length on these things are sort of laughable. Poor baby looks like an old man with his pants hiked all the way up like that, but hopefully it will fit him as he continues to grow.

Baby Footed Pants, Merino Wool, Sage

These are perfect! The waistband is a thicker layer and wide, great for pulling up and staying put over a diaper, and the feet feel like they will endure a lot of kicks and stretches. I’ll buy more!

Baby Footed Pants, Merino Wool, Sage

Pants are soft and I love that it is footed, but the beige color we ordered looks more yellow/ worn out look than beige.

Baby Footed Pants, Merino Wool, Dove

Lovely quality! I have the body suit and pants for my son's pajamas. I love knowing that he's nice and warm, and studies that show merino wool helps improve sleep! I use wool wash and do it by hand, and they are super easy to wash and air dry.

Baby Footed Pants, Merino Wool, Blue

I love putting these pants on my baby. They keep his legs and feet cozy and warm without over-heating. The material is so soft, and the waistband is stretchy without being too tight on his tummy. Great purchase.

Baby Footed Pants, Merino Wool, Dove

These are amazingly soft and silky. They are definitely on the bigger side- they are even a little big on my 8-month old baby (56th percentile for height & weight), which is great because I’m hoping to get the whole season out of them! I love these- I only wish they came in a 9-12m also, just in case she has a major growth spurt.

Baby Footed Pants, Merino Wool, Blue

Shipping was quick, and the packaging is nice. My infant son is using the onesies , footed pajamas, and the sleep sack, all which he loves! If mittens were available, I’d buy a few.

Baby Footed Pants, Merino Wool, Dove

Bought these pants for our granddaughter at our daughter’s request, because all of our other six grandchildren wore Woolino. What is so great about Woolino is that the clothes provide comfort for baby in such a wide range of temperatures. Add to that their softness (gd has super sensitive skin) washability, and durability (much of our family’s Woolino has been handed down). As an experienced grandma, I don’t think Woolino baby clothes can be beat.

Baby Footed Pants, Merino Wool, Blue

Very soft and comfortable for sleeping! A little big for my 6mo, but she’s small. I suspect she will be able to wear these until she is one!

Baby Footed Pants, Merino Wool, Dove

These pants are great. We layer them under a regular pair when it's especially cold, but they're also just cozy and convenient on their own.
